Time to clean up unneeded extra schtuff. You pay shipping, but if you're patient I do get around the midwest and may be able to deliver parts regionally. Especially if you live in WI, IA, MO, KS, or Upper MI. Yes, I know that narrows the buying pool down to 3 people, but it might be worthwhile if you are @GWeakland620, @thatK30guy, or @78K30. :haha:

Let me know if you want pictures or measurements.

Parts located in Wisconsin:

4WD TH400 with diesel governor and torque converter. Removed from my M1009 last winter. Vacuum line was shot, so shifting was slow. Otherwise it appeared to work fine. I used it for tooling around the yard, probably never got to 3rd gear. $200 OBO. (SOLD)

Also have the corresponding TH400 --> NP208 adapter (flat-style 1984-down crossmember) Make offer. (SOLD)

Diesel radiator removed from later-model 6.5 truck (pressurized reservoir). I bought this when my 6.2 radiator failed, wound up repairing the old one instead. I know it's no fun to ship, but I'm tired of storing it. $50

Stock rear heating unit from Suburban. Self-contained blower and heater core unit that sits on the floor behind the 3rd row seating. I think I'm going to head a different direction for heating. Also have factory switch panel for controlling it from the dash. $50 for both. (Still for sale until someone comes up with some money)

Open 10.5" 14bff carrier. $50.

Stock front GMT400 driveshaft. Same length as stock squarebody shaft but does not have a double cardan. I also have a squarebody double cardan with NP241/NP208 flange. $50 apiece or both for $75. (Sale Pending)

10-bolt/D44 manual lockouts & drive flanges. Make offer.
Brake pedal for vacuum-boost, stick-shift truck (x2). Make 2 offers.

Free to good home (or heading to scrap):

Square box-style fuel filter & housing for 84+ 6.2 diesel.
Stock automatic lockouts for 10-bolt or later D44.
Both removed from my Suburban a couple years back.

I also have the following parts burning barn space in Iowa:

Stock steel 8-lug 16" GMT400 rims. I have 7 of them (soon to be 8), with and without tires. Not worth shipping, but I'm including them just in case someone close is interested. I also have 5 dog-dish 16.5" GM rims.

Stock rear 10-bolt (complete). Removed from Suburban when I switched to 8 lugs. $75.

1978 K20 D44 front (big bearing). Removed 8-lug outers during my conversion, have the 6-lug outers in boxes. $75 as is, $100 if you also want the 6-lug outers. (Sale Pending)

Both axles have open carriers and 3.73:1 gearing. Am willing to part out if you just want something specific.

I also have a set of 3.08 gears on a 28-spline open carrier. Make offer.

Ethan I want the rear heat unit

Here's what I have. Heater core & blower encased in glorious 80s plastic. I even found the wiring harness that goes with it. Removed from a junkyard donor. I also pulled the two switch banks that sit next to the front ash tray if you have interest in either of them (haven't decided whether I wanna repurpose those or not).

Note - this is not part of the rear A/C, the two systems operate independently.

You don't. You want to send me the whole thing. Cause my kids have already complained the back doesn't get warm enough

Ethan sorry man. Keith apparently has what I need and since I'm gonna be at his house this week. I'm just gonna grab it from him

You are correct. Hmmm lemme think on it. It's too big to go in a flat rate box isn't it

Yeah. I haven't measured it, but that's a 2x4 underneath the box beam. Maybe12" x 8" x 8" if you took the fan off the back and stacked it inside the plastic box.

My 78 K20 happens to have a toasted 3.73 Dana 44 with outers I just rebuilt. I'll take that D44 off your hands!

Awesome. You are the easiest person to get ahold of, shipping-wise. You can either come get it or wait until the next family gathering takes us to Newton. Is there anything else on the list that interests you? I have a pile of cheap tires & rims in both GM and Ford patterns.

I am very interested in the th400 with t-case schtuff. And also in no hurry.

Okie dokie. If you're patient we will probably be down there at some point in the next 6 months or so. Still don't know when. I just have the parts removed from the CUCV, I'm reusing the t-case (but not the adapter). The cooler, lines, and vacuum lines, and TPS vacuum regulator are also available, they just haven't been removed from the truck yet.

What are you planning on using it for?

I honestly don't know yet.

Are you wanting any of the stock accessories? You will need some form of vacuum controller if it goes on one of the diesel engines.
It would most likely make it's way under the Jimmy along with a doubler, but you never know what may come up so it's probably not a bad idea.

Ya know. I have really been wanting a 6.2 K5 for a daily driver for a long time. Finding a clean unit, but with a blown transmission would really help keep the cost of the vehicle purchase down. So realistically, that would be it's ultimate fate.

Not sure if you would want the TH400 cooler lines, but you will at least need the vacuum line running up to the throttle body.

Is this sarcasm? Or are you getting crazier than I realized?
