Still have some stuff cluttering the barn. Some old, some new. Shipping on your dime. If you're patient, and live near the center of the USA, I may be able to deliver stuff. Eventually.

Lemme know if you want pictures or you don't like my pricing. I'm all ears. :ears:

Open 10.5" 14bff carrier. $40 or trade for 10.5" G80 carrier.

Stock rear heating unit from Suburban. Self-contained blower and heater core unit that sits on the floor behind the 3rd row seating. I think I'm going to head a different direction for heating. $50 (I have had 2 different folks offer to buy this, but money never appeared.)

In the "make offer" pile:

1 set of center caps for 6-lug square-body rally rims ('88)

IMGP4571.JPG

1 set of 8.5" 3.08 gears on a 28-spline open carrier.
1 pair of stock 10-bolt hubs & rotors (6-lug).
10-bolt/D44 manual lockouts & drive flanges.

Stock front square body driveshaft ('85 K10). Splines are dry and have some looseness. Not sure whether it just needs grease or if there's a problem. SOLD.

SM465 from '85 K10 with NP208 adapter. I am keeping the bell housing and NP208, but have no use for the gear case. The P.O. claims it works perfectly, but I have no way of verifying it. The shifter goes through the gears, and the input/output shafts rotate properly (though stiff). Otherwise I haven't looked at it. Includes flywheel & clutch set from SBC. SOLD.
Stock rear 10-bolt (complete). 6 lug, 3.73 gears. Removed from Suburban when I switched to 8 lugs. SOLD.

Mechanical bell housing for SM465. May fit other transmissions also, I see it has a 5th bolt hole on the back side. I also have a mechanical GM bell housing with a smaller input hole, I'm not sure what it came off of. $25 for either one.
SOLD.

Complete steering column from my 1986 M1009. Automatic, non-tilt, non-delay wipers. Currently keyed with the infamous CUCV key, on sale everywhere. It worked when removed, but had some play in the steering. SOLD.

Any pics of the transmission and t/c adapter? Would you separate them and sell only the t/c adapter?

Thanks

Here is what it looked like when I bought it (early December). I'm keeping the cross member, too.

Adapter is for a 6-bolt round-pattern GM T-case. It's longer than the earlier adapters, this is after GM standardized transmission lengths.

I'm willing to separate them if the offer is good enough. What is it worth to ya?

I'll take a large chocolate shake and a medium order of fries

If you come this way I'd take those center caps

My K10 is a 79 so i have the flat crossmember and tall adapter so this is not going to work for me

Thanks

Aha. I just dealt with that exact issue on the K5 (NV4500 has a short adapter built into the tail housing), which is why I bought this crossmember in the first place. So I wouldn't hafta scab together another height spacer. Your adapter would also be shorter in length, no?

Yes, 465 / 205 with the shorter adapter. I was thinking of adding a 241 rangebox in front of the 205 but i may be better of finding a complete 465/208 setup like you did vs piecing it all together

What is needed to install that rear heater in a Suburban? That drive shaft for NP208 to 10 bolt?

Heater has a 3 wire harness (included) going to a switch in the dash (for the fan). Add 2 hoses going to the heater core circuit and you'll have heat. The factory setup had cutout valves isolating it when not in use. I did not pull those, I really should have.

Yes on the driveshaft.

How much would shipping be for just the drive shaft and then both to 85282? Definitely interested in the drive shaft, not so sure on the heater, doesn't get that cold here.

Check your PMs from December 21st, I already quoted shipping for this shaft. :)

Pretty sure I lowered the price since then, too.
