Hey scott, I found the rattle/clicking sound my sub was making that I told ya about...my battery tray broke...something to look at anyways...good luck.

check those things that wraparound the springpacks. it rattles on mine.

Yeah, battery tray is very common. Just welded mine back up a couple weeks ago in the Suburban.

I jumped a sub once and broke a leaf. It would go clang, clang a little on bumps. Got worse with time, too, as it starting walking out of the pack. It was the one with the clamp attached to it.

thanks guys, i'll check it out. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

you might have broke something in your hub /forums/images/icons/frown.gif , mine was doing that, and thats what it was.

The suggestion of standing on the front bumper is a good one. Jump on it a bit to see if you can get it to click. If so you have a decent chance of hearing it well enough since the engine is off to be able to pin point where it's coming from or at least narrow down the area a bit.

the hubs are fine, the bearings are new and i've been wheelin since then and i was 4 wheel drive.

Maybe you got a visit from the "Locker Fairy" /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Maybe you've got a bent flexplate and there's a bolt tapping your inspection cover.

i don't have a locker and i know exactly what's wrong with my flexplate. it's gettin replaced this year.

Check your front pads if thay rattle between the calipers and the roters or just get a lauder stereo.
