colbystephens' '73 blazer build!

Lookin' good mang!

Definitely ask to get back whatever the labor charge was. They basically provided you with the glass, seal, and a headache. It sounds like they didn't have much "labor" involved.

IT looks Awesome, are the dents on the side from when you droped it?

I cant wait to see your pics of wheeling, seeing how your pics are usually amazing

Tom

Sounds like you should find a better glass shop...

That looks awesome Colby, I can't wait to see it complete in person. Get any rain after I left on Sunday?

I thought we put your shade thing back together?

yes, the dents infront of the rear wheel wells are from dropping the truck on the ground. no biggie. i didn't get the truck done in time to drive it to cali - i drove my wife's '63 bug. bummed a bit because i really wanted to wheel with the socko guys. i'm regretting having started the body swap with such little time to do it in. i was so close. i'ts cool tho, claire and i will just have some good time doing some other vacationing on the way home. :)

i'll check on the paint brand - i forget at the moment and i'm about 1100 miles from home. :D

Almost valve adjustment time :haha:

dude, lookin awesome, shoulda called me first though, ive got more columns than you can shake a stick at. let me know if you need anything else huh?

theres some mean trails up here above camas, your blazer would really be put to the test i think. none of that orygun clay either!

i only ride the legal stuff - so if you want to show me around, i'd be happy to take a look at the trails, but they gotta be legal.

cool.i was under the impression that there were nearly no legal trails outside washougal.

Most trails anymore are roads that DNR or USFS have let go.. after a few winters of people tearing them up they get interesting. Too many trees. Jones is a nice area but I'm not sure if it's legal for 4x4's.

If I get a chance I'll DNR today and see.. I'm curious since I'm thinking of taking my K5 out Sunday...

Hmmm don't know how I missed all this but it looks great! Also... I'm bummed that I didn't catch it earlier... on your way to SoCal in July I bet you drove right through my neck of the woods!

on the way down i just took the i5, and on the way north we took the 1 and 101 as much as possible, so i probably wasn't that close to fresno. additionally, i didn't have the truck done in time, so we cruised in the volkswagen bug we've got ('64).

ehh close enough... south of bakersfield it splits... the 5 and 99.
99 runs right through Fresno but heck I cross the 5 on my way to the dunes, we could have made a quick detour and hit the sand! :)
