Considering a Suburban Tow Rig

GM to GM swaps are one thing. Swapping in a motor that was never there is another thing.

For the purpose of this rig, stick to some sort of combination of same brand parts.

I know. Just needs to be understood as more difficult than some of the other swaps

I appreciate that. I'm definitely capable of it. I just don't know if it's something I want to undertake. I haven't been real excited about anything out there this far.

I also read that as 117k. Are you dead-set on 4WD, or are you wanting high fuel mileage? You know these goals usually oppose each other, right? ;)

Yea, I know I can't get everything I want. I'm willing to sacrifice some things to get most of what I want.

That's what my friends tell me about women.

That's possible. But the cost of screwing up with real people is much higher than anything you can do to an iron hunk. If something goes wrong with your truck, it's pretty easy to either fix or just drop it off at the scrap yard and start over. People are not like that, and women are very much not like that.

I'd advise you to take a cautious approach with women. And I'd also advise you to not listen to opinions from the internet. :wink1: :rotfl:

That's a sweet rig, love the DOT orange. Go test drive it and see if you even like driving the van. Toss in a bench seat or two, some insulation, and a small fold up bed in the back and you have a do it all rig :waytogo:

Not a bad plan. Unless your passengers like windows. haha.
