For the record,, i had to replace , the radiator, the heater core, the thermostat, the rad cap,, AND i also replaced the clutch fan today,, suprizingly, the more things i replaced, the less it heated up. Like a mixture of everything was what got it to cool better. The clutch fan was definatly bad. It still goes over the half way mark, but its resting at 12:30 on the guage at best.
Um, as far as the engine flush goes,,, the store bought one i was told was basically garbage . Even the counter guy (witch im getting to know quite well) said to take it to somewhere where they can and will flush the engine properly , to 100 psi ,on a machine , witch really cleans the water passeges. He says the over the counter remedy engine flush is junk. Im going down to the shop on moday morning first thing, to flush it good. Hopefully its not a head gasket, or the water pump,,witch would be the last options, the only pshysical way for it to overheat. That basically breaks down the cooling system in a nutshell. Usually its ALWAYS the LAST item you replace that fixes the problem, but thats ok, i had some fun.

Thanks everyone, i just sponged off of everyones opinions here and did basically everything you said to, ck5 rocks!!!

YEAH YEAH, its a FURD, but they make some decent work vehicles.
