Cooper Discoverer S/T / new tire p.#8

I've had good luck with Cooper tires, I ran a set of the old style STT's with good results. I would have prefered BFG MT's but the STT's were quite a bit cheaper. I put a few holes in the sidewalls, and drove on them flat for miles, but they were always repairable. I also ran a milder set of Cooper's- Discoverer Radial LT's or something to that effect, and they were way too mild offroad.

Look for a Mastercraft dealer, they are the more affordable line of Cooper made tires. I've had good results with them, too.

If you're going to wheel, particularly in mud, skip right past the AT's and get some MT's, in whatever brand you choose. You will not be disappointed. If you buy AT's you will at some point (probably everytime you're wheeling) wish you had MT's. If you keep the pressure right and rotate them often they should last.

I would get BFG MT's or Goodyear MTR's if you can afford them. They are pretty easy to find used, too.

Another option would be Kumho.

Don't forget to check Costco, Walmart, and Sams Club. They can usually order stuff and have good prices.

Well, if you can't find a dealer that will warranty their own siping work...on the tires they sold you...Wisconsin sorta sucks. Can't help you there then.

I liked the Interco TrXus MT's I had on my Ranger. Siped from the factory and I never needed to sip them myself. Lasted good, nice Swamper like tread, and decent price.

There's the ProComps as mentioned above.

Uhmmm...siped and MT's eh...not sure who else has an MT that is siped and affordable.

Done a search for sipe and mud terrain on the internet?
