Craigslist truck

Pretty badass! Seems kinda expensive...I like the way he removes the top the best! Not diggin the wheels, body looks good from the pictures, definitly alot of man hrs and $$$ into it. Good looking for a 2wd.

I like it from what I see, looks pretty well put together.

Is it just me or is it starting to rust around that one door handle?

Its not a vette or camaro engine from what I can tell. Its a impala, roadmaster, caddy engine. Iron heads

It just needs a few things to be complete...
Np203/205 doubled up
D60
14bFF
Shackle flip in the rear
Leaf springs for the front
Xover steering linkage (already has the 2wd box)
35" M/Ts on some H2s
oh, and a front driveshaft.

:D

Seriously though, nice lookin truck if you are into the 2wd truck thing.

Very nice truck, it needs to be lowered though. Wheels look ok but I think there is too much rubber.

For his claim of over $35k invested between him and the previous owner underneath the truck sure looks like crap.

Not digging the grill, the uphostered hard top, the goofy flaming bowtie (decal?)...but most of all I hate the S-10 door handles. If you're gonna spend some cash and don't like the stock door handles shave the F'in door and use solenoids.

I think that $35K is a lot of paid shop labour. It sure isn't spendy parts, aside paint and body.

not diging the maroon interior, definately should have been black.

Also the S10 handles are gay

The rear sits about an inch too high

The rims need to be bigger to complete the street look, less rubber.

also defiate bubbling at the door handles

also the flaming bowties are gay

I'd have to agree with with all the comments. The engine bay could use some clean up as well. Great engine but it's a street rod, let's hide some of the wiring.

My biggest gripe is it's said to be "very fast". Um, it's a stock LT1 and tiny 2inch duals:rolleyes:

Wonder if he would know fast if it hit him in the head.

Looking at it from a distance, I get all excited (it's how I want mine to look someday) but then I notice all those little details that have been mentioned and it's not so cool. Especially for that price!:eek1: Wonder if he kisses it good night for that amount of money.

If it's going to be a street machine, it needs to be lower, bigger wheels, and a cleaner engine bay. And personally, I'd have done (will do) a tan leather interior with 99-07 buckets. And if the vehicle can't do 160, why have a speedo that high? same with the tach.

I'd offer him $12k, then laugh when he turns it down.

Just throwing my opinion out there, it isn't stock and the numbers definitely do not match, it is highly modified and will not keep it's value as the years go on. however it is a nice ride and I wouldn't mind driving it even if it is a 2wd, but out east over here I NEED a 4x4. haha it's kind of pricey though. but theres people over here selling lifted restored frame-up K5's. adn that garage top lift thing? that's badass and I wish I had one. haha

Search for a user here that goes by BobK. He built a similar lift himself for a first gen Blazer, he even has some video up of his young son manning the remote for the winch.
