Creepers

I’ve never found a creeper I like. Between the $hitty wheels and my height (I’m tall), they all suck.

Are they made of gold? They don't look any beefier, except for the 4" casters.

There's definitely gold in there somewhere. I've got an antique metal frame JC23 with (6) 2.5" casters, it works great but probably low mileage compared to you folks that use them for a living.

I still have a older wooden Lisle creeper thats held up well, probably because it dont get used much anymore with the 2 post lift in use.

if you ever go off road, these mats are pretty amazing to use…

Yeah, back in the day when I was a roadside/equipment mechanic I had a roll of carpet I would lay out.

Bummer, they are comfy, roll really well on concrete or smoothish asphalt

I love this one.
Wheels are big enough to roll over all the chitty areas in my floor, and over all the crap that gets on it while I'm working. It's real heavy duty.
Plus the raising head rest is amazing.
I always used to have to use a leather throw pillow off of a couch before lol.

Apparently JBTools has them and also sells them on Amazon.

My weight causes the caster to fail pretty quick on most creepers. My favorite right now is a steel framed creeper that I put larger HF casters on. Big casters don't have an issue with weight and they roll easier.
Still using this one I posted about in '21.
