Yeah, back in the day when I was a roadside/equipment mechanic I had a roll of carpet I would lay out.I still have a older wooden Lisle creeper thats held up well, probably because it dont get used much anymore with the 2 post lift in use.
if you ever go off road, these mats are pretty amazing to use…

That appears to be a reproduction of the original Bone brand creeper. Shin Fu Company of America, Kansas City, but no way to order from the web site.

Still using this one I posted about in '21.My weight causes the caster to fail pretty quick on most creepers. My favorite right now is a steel framed creeper that I put larger HF casters on. Big casters don't have an issue with weight and they roll easier.
