Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

Great idea!!! All my stuff is in a drawer on my porch/shop. Not reallly helpful on the road though.

I have a file for each in my filing cabinet. Always a bit afraid I'll loose it or damage it in the vehicle. My center console and glove box are full already.

I got a nice spot picked out for mine. My passenger front seat has nothing stowed underneath it currently.

Just setting it there or some kind of a cabinet or storage box going there?

Just setting it there for now. Keep in mind, the crew has carpet and fairly close to the floor seats. It's a tight little spot and not much else could go there. If it decides to slide around, I'll do something to retain it but I don't think it'll be an issue.

Might want to laminate the pages or something. I could see it getting trashed in the winter.

Think so? Maybe I'll just tuck it in behind the amp. Pretty safe spot there.

Floor under the seat is a good 4" higher than the foot well.

I tuck one of my feet in next to the front of the seat pretty regularly when I ride in a vehicle. Not saying it will happen, just probably better off safe than sorry when you put a fair amount of work into a custom manual. :wink1:

true.

Gona print off a copy of the York manual and some others tomorrow to throw in there as well.

I'm with mike...I just don't trust something that important to sit on the floor. Moisture, pets, random crap, oh, and got young kids? It's amazing what my 3 and 7 yo nephew and niece have found in my truck the last few months. Stuff I didn't even know was there...and I gutted the interior back in October!

I'll find a good spot for it. If nothing else works I'll make a container for it.

Kind of a crappy picture but you get the idea.

Those are LED's in the instrument panel. I don't remember if it was in this thread or not but alot of folks said they wouldn't work well for whatever reason. I think the main concern was illumination.

They worked out nicely. Only reason i went with blue is the Sony head unit is in blue illumination and i kinda like that stuff to match up. Hopefully I can get the console gauges to look similar.

Ok bringing this back alive so I can get some ideas. I bought me one yesterday and needing some ideas :D

I was debating on taking the visor off and welding up the holes but it doesn't really look that bad. Still not sure though. Was also debatingon going single wheel with it.
