This may help ya http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=543426So Kert, care to elaborate on the idea for the push button setup? Any links to others who have done it, any parts ideas, anything? I would love to research this a bit before I get into building my console, as I refuse to build the console twice.
Edit: Never mind, I see two controllers with up to three positions, and you could control the twin stick to do high, low, and neutral for front and rear.

Yep, you got it. So far it seems simple (deceptively I'm sure.)

On a different note, and sorry for the crappy phone pics. Didn't have a camera with me today.

Got the actuators in hand as well as the dual controller.
Dual controller is going back in favor of 2 single controllers. The dual brain box has a small switch on it that you use to select the different linear actuators. Problem is the brain box is the piece you kinda need to hide in the console.

rocker tube onto the box for one side anyway.
that slider piece is n ot connected to the cab slider I assume right?
That was actually something I wanted to know about. I know it will cost a bit more for the two controllers, but I wondered about the slide switch to control them. Although I won't be hiding mine, I have an idea about using it for security in less than favorable places.Got the actuators in hand as well as the dual controller.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. I am thinking of a way to show when the shift has actually happened, since you won't be able to tell from the cab. Just a simple setup to light some lights to indicate where the rails are, should be very easy to create, and make it nice inside. Then I can switch to SPST momentary switches to run the controller, just a bit of added security.I had thought about using the system for security as well. Wouldn't be to hard to set it up on relays with a hidden switch. Throw it all in Neutral and kill it.
