Crews and worthy rigs Around the country

Why didn't I join this site sooner so I could have seen this thread back when I was searching for my crew? I spent countless searching for mine and most of the ones I saw where posted in here... all except mine! :D

Yeah, people have horrible taste in wheels. 99% of aftermarket wheels look worse than the factory ones.

Do 20's look good on any body style truck?
I generally don't like big rims at all, though I've seen a couple superDutys w 20 that are allright, def not my cup of soup though... I'm pretty old school, I like 8lug 15" rim...

20 arent my thing cause they have more rim and less rubber to ride on but they work better on newer trucks because the wheel wells are much larger. They look way disproportionate on 73-87 body style. Remind me of hotwheels toys.

Maybe 20's look gay in almost every situation because they are usually some gawdy style rim with low profile tires.
I have 19.5's on my F550 4x4, and they definitely would not be my first choice for off road rims, mainly because of the normal size and tread selections available. Interco makes a 36" or 37" Irok tire in this size. But it is a custom tire for fire truck equipment builders and is therefore very expensive.

+1, gay wheels!!!! Wtf.... 20s are not for that body style truck; 17s max and that's pushing it...

You guys are hurting my feelings;) I'm running 18" and love them. Guess I'm not cool anymore. Time to dig the pocket protector back out and put on the skinny jeans today. ;)

Ok I agree. Big wheels most of the time look like crap. If your putting big wheels on a rig, it better have some monster rubber. :)
