I think 25 grand is off the rails for that. Its not any more useful than any other 4x4 one ton, and its actually worse because its so long. Borderline unparkable with a trailer. Impossible yo turn around. Its a crappy out dated limo.

Uh-oh.., seems you guys have a disagreement... High noon at the saloon!!!! :weapon31::weapon31::weapon31::

Not to mention how much of the GVWR capacity is eaten up by the longer frame and bed? That's gotta add up. Looks like that truck is still expected to move all of that with the 235hp 454 and 1960's transmission...not to mention the brakes from the 70's.

those "brakes from the'70s" are Hydraboost, most likely 13" x 3.5" rear drums and Dana 60 discs. far from sketchy...

No, I never said sketchy...but certainly never intended to be used under THAT truck with all it's extra weight.

Thought this was a nice k5

Not that it's amazing but I like the color.. Last couple nights I've just been searching CL out west, Oregon, Washington, Cali.. Some amazing stuff out there.. Like my Ford I picked up las Dec in Az, you could literally and I mean literally eat off the underside of the truck... I live on the wrong coast....

I might be wrong here . . . . .

but dosnt the vehicle data plate go on the cab door jamb and NOT the door itself ?

something smells a tad bit funny here

oh ya but does look super nice .

No, the data plate goes on the door. Too big to fit on the jamb.

Looks like a decent truck. Price is high.

Lots of change but I suppose we could loosely compare to a used duramax single cab diesel; rare truck.. If that CUCV is as clean as it appears it'd be a good option for you southern guys.. Even if treated up here in the NorthEast it'd turn into a rust ball in 4-5 years.. If it had some creature comforts like a set of period correct and upholstered captains chairs or a 40/20/40 split + a head liner it'd be a great year rounder and take you many miles. Seems like it's be geared ok w that OD tranny... Anyway, personally I like solid axle trucks.
