Crews and worthy rigs Around the country

Pretty cool truck. Love the interior, looks comfy!

I guess they don't actually plan to use those bumpstops for anything significant with them contacting the center of a non braced control arm that can also twist several degrees.

have you priced front and rear ORD 4 link setups ?
I should have clarified - assuming you already had a workable CC roller. As i mentioned - that amount was excluding paint, because that can get crazy.

My quick thinking -

4link F/R, PSC steering, with ancillaries - $15k
6.0/4L80/205 including trans rebuild, cam and supporting parts - $7.5k
Interior - gauges, upholstery, headliner, door panels, etc - $7.5k
Wheels/Tire combo - $5k

Thats $35k without paint/body work, and add another $5k for all the little stuff i left out. May not be exact same, but would get you reasonably close doing the work yourself vs a shop for everything.

Am I off base?

Front and rear sway bar 650 ish each . In-effective bump stops ( called out ) not cheep . And you price retro rims and military tires ? There is more i am sure on top this is a quick look on my part .

And then reality sets in and boom its 65k before you know it
Oh for sure. I was just internet building with the keyboard lol. Trying to see if there is meat left on the bone for someone to build CC’s and sell them, since theres lots of interest in modified ones on BaT and other auctions. I think the verdict is yes, IF you have a nice body that only needs minor touch ups and minimal/no paint work. The truck in question has lot of off the shelf parts, if someone made their own 4link vs ORD kit, for example you could probably cut that parts cost maybe in 1/2? Just speculating.

do i get bonus points for leaving the rake in it when i lowered it a little bit ?
Yes you do K30 I love rake just look at my K10 ! And USS you are so correct ! I forgot about that phase of idiocy these dam kids were going through, luckily not many Squarebodys got violated by this act of stupid it was mostly newer toilets they could afford....

78k bring a trailer to 160k . . Fu*k you over dealer price :rotfl:
It didnt meet reserve.

Thats why i posed my questions about building crewcabs before. They are hot, since most trucks now adays are crewcabs.

If this had a built LT4/10spd and was basically a square TRX, i could see 100+, but with a basic build 6.0/4l80, no chance.

Not a lot of space between the drive Shaft and it's guard either
