Yep, then ditch the Impala front bumper.
So this guy posts this for a month at $8000.
Then raises the price to $10000.
Now 2 weeks later he raises it to $12500 what gives?

He probably paid someone to fix something on it, but wants to recoup his money.
There was a local dude selling a Firebird Formula last year. It didn't run. After a couple weeks, the description said a new fuel pump was installed, but the car still didn't run. The price was increased $300. And the floor got hacked up to install the pump.
Nope nothing has changed the same description as a solid everything works truck, and still with the peeling paint.
I have before raised my price a little when I had something underpriced because people were afraid there was something wrong.
But he is raising the price by thousands and it wasn't really underpriced to begin with.
There a few others on craigslist that are the same but with flatbed, ranging from 16 feet to 20 feet, all under $2000 haven't moved in 5 months.
This one being short wheelbase with a regular bed might have more value for personal use but not that much more
Chances are that in addition to being delusional the seller is listening to people responding to his add that are dreamers instead of actual potential buyers and they are feeding/filling his head with false price expectations.
If I had an extra 5k laying around....
