Cummins/Allison/Rockwell/Planetaries/Peterbilt.....paint job completed

What a huge difference, before and after.

Still to go:

front bumper, platforms and ladders for driver and passenger entry, stacks for the exhaust, Red Dot A/C unit, and of course PAINT!

You put a lift kit on a piece of farm equipment.:haha:There is a redneck joke somewhere in there.

And it's even rollin' on 26's.....:haha:

Nah, seriously, the added height was from incorporating the leaf springs.

Got all the hydraulic lines in ( all 8 of them), got the oil pan put back on the motor after welding a bung in the pan, changed the oil, and actually drove it about 6 feet in the shop. Steering works great. No brakes yet. Looks like I've got to pull the injection pump. THe engine won't rev up, it idles great, but wants to puff some smoke and run rough at about 1100rpm and wont rev any higher. I talked to an injection shop and they think the plunger and sleeve is varnished up and stuck, from sitting for 2 years. I need to get the pump set up for about 300HP anyways.:D

A 91 like he said it is, will be a rotary ve. Early 91 will be non intercooled. 91.5 will be intercooled.

I dumped in a bottle of lucas fuel treatment, let it idle for a 1/2 hour, and it freed itself up! Runs great from idle all the way up.

Cool build. A guy just dropped off a set of wheels really similar to what you're running that we're boring out the stud holes and machining a taper for the lug nuts.
I didn't ask what he was putting them on but I bet it's something similar.

Keep the updates coming!

Got her out of the shop and off for a test drive. This 5.9 sounds GOOD with nearly no exhaust.:D This thing is geared LOW, but 22.7:1 final axle ratio would be pretty damn low, even with 64" tires. It goes from 1st gear to 3rd QUICK.

I did however build my drag links too light.:doah: Out in the dirt, steering without the rig moving, already bent the longer one of the two.

Got the bumper on too.
