Adapter bellhousing is around $500 and you can keep all the 1st gen engine plate/ clutch assembly. There are other companies than Advanced Adapters making the bellhousing. The guys that built my tranny got the bellhousing so I don't know who it's from. I do know my barring tool won't fit in far enough to engage the flywheel now. That's what the alternator nut is for. FWIW, I got the rebuilt tranny (5th gear nut addressed) with bellhousing, new shifter, etc for $2k. Clutch was additional. Cheaper than anything you'll find online.
