cummins, nv4500 questions

well It looks like this conversion would be out of my budget for quite sometime with having to have my build done on the K5 before sept. I'll be selling this and using the funds for the K5 and upgrades for the dodge auto trans, if I end up with the truck. It'll be over in the classified section.
 
Adapter bellhousing is around $500 and you can keep all the 1st gen engine plate/ clutch assembly. There are other companies than Advanced Adapters making the bellhousing. The guys that built my tranny got the bellhousing so I don't know who it's from. I do know my barring tool won't fit in far enough to engage the flywheel now. That's what the alternator nut is for. FWIW, I got the rebuilt tranny (5th gear nut addressed) with bellhousing, new shifter, etc for $2k. Clutch was additional. Cheaper than anything you'll find online.
