D 60 Cross over steering?

Ok , the D60 70 combo is in the blazer (But it's not mine )

Now I have searched through alot of posts about cross over steering and there is a lot of confusion it seems (at least in my own mind anyway , but that is another story)

The big question that I have now is....

Does a home built cross over steering set up exist for a Dodge D60?
We would rather fab up , scrounge up our own parts to make our own and put the saved money to other uses

Right now the rig is sitting on 40" boggers , 15X10" rims with 2"offset
with steering from the pages of "scary steering" to have it movable to get in and out of the shop

Also another question is , has anyone had problems with over clocking a rear diff. to help out drive line angles? (re-welding perches)
We rolled the rear diff up quite abit to get better angles.

Any help would be appreciated with this steering situation.
Please , no answers that say just go and buy it you cheap so and so's

Assuming it's a king pin style Dodge D60, anything that works for a GM axle should work for yours.

The biggest single expenditure is the arm that mounts on the axle. There is honestly no way to booty fab it. If you have a mill you could probably do it fairly cheaply yourself but otherwise you are going to have to buy one. Fabbing the draglink wouldnt be hard, just make sure you use TRE's and not heims. At the PS box end, you might be able to get away with a stock 2wd pitman arm but everyone usually uses a 3" drop one from a ford made by superlift I believe.

unless you are a professional machinist, I don't recommend booty-fabbing steering arms. Get some from WFO Concepts. They are made from 1" thick cold rolled steel, have the angles for the ackerman etc etc. Their double arms are bling bling. If you have the ability to cut threads in DOM, making the draglink/tierod should be no problem... just need some tube and the ends.

I would have to aggree afroman006, unless you have a mill it's going to be tough. I do have them on my website as well as other parts for the di-it-yourself person.

We have access to CNC and a machine shop , so we just need some specific measurments.(steering arms?)
I am just posting this for a friend , so if I don't answer right away it's because I need to ask him what he want's
We are attempting to be the built not bought rig
