dana 44 and 37'' boggers

Open or locked, you will break if you do any real wheeling

Boggers hook really well.

I have broke Dana 44 open, locked, you name it, with 35" radial muds even. Gotta keep in mind these are low-grade steel shafts that are at best 29 years old.

Eventually you are going to tear up a shaft and/or u-joint (yes I have broke both at the same time before)

At least go with some alloy shafts if you can't afford a Dana 60. If you think you can't afford the alloy shafts, then don't wheel it hard

Or, do like I did and don't listen and wheel it hard anyways and spend a lot of time searching out old axle shafts LOL

Good luck

its open, and most of my wheelins not that hard mostly trails, mud and hills. i mite play on the rocks everynow and then, and they arent any hard stuff just sum stuff i can flex my rig on.

Go for it, you will be fine! My good freind is running those same tires on his 10bolt, has been since this summer. He is open in the front, but has not broken anything in the front axle yet. He has even had the front end off the ground, and landed under power. This has resulted in a couple broken driveshafts, but not axle shafts, u joints, hubs, or ball joints yet! I tried talking him out of this combo at first, but now that I have seen how well he has done with it, why not!? Plus, used shafts and parts for these axles are plentiful. Stockpile parts, and get good at changing parts, and even breakage wont be a problem!
