1/2 ton status
I've gotten d60 front torn down to the carrier and inner/outer shafts. The shafts will not slide out. Is there something I'm missing?

If you have it torn down that far, It should come out. It's a full floating axle. There are no C clips holding it in.
there is either damage or your spindles are still on.

1/2 ton status
The spindles are off. There was some corrosion when I took the cover off so I'm guessing that's the culprit. Any suggestions?
big crowbar leveraged on the axle tube, end of it through the u-joint area, and "help" the axle come out.
