I have the 70 HD also, and plan to fit H1 rims so I'm interested to see how the dually setup works for you.

alright so i just want to confirm for the 1000th time, this will work on a d70 dually axle right? ive found a dually axle, and want to convert to disc and run h1's on it. will these brackets be able to use the caddy calipers? thanks kert. if so, ill be making an order for all my stuff from you first week in may

We are working on an HD specific kit. The only hold up is the diameter of the neck down area for the weld on flange. Once that measurement is secured we're ready to go. They will clear H1 wheels so that's a go there.

My brother measured his dana 70 HD today, now unfortunatly the digital caliper would not go over the tube completely so this measurement may not be 100% correct, but the main tube was 4" and necked down was 3.5".
Whatever your caliper bracket was, it slide perfect over the necked down part of the axle

Not sure if this ever was cleared up, There is a HD specific kit to fit on the Dually axle however, the brake caliper will NOT clear a dually wheel. So, the HD kit is only good for those converting to a different hub and running Single rear wheels.
