I've got a lead on a truck with a dana 60 front and a dana 70 rear. Obviously the 60 is worth grabbing, but id the 70 a decent rear?
Check it carefully, there were no SRW D70 equipped square body trucks.
Afaik, for it to be an SRW GM it'll have to be from an '88+ new body style truck but it was only used something like '88-'90 or so.
Thats my bet too, but it's close enough that I don't mind driving out to take a look.My bet is it is a 14. The front maybe a 44 too if he can't tell the rear.

I actually found a different guy selling the axles out of a CUCV (the reason for a different thread) so I decided to pass on this.I just posted on your other page about buying these axles. I assumed the rear to be a 14 bolt as that's what those trucks came with. If somehow it's a SRW Dana 70 I would likely pass if you are trying to keep a SRW and go with a $200 14 bolt. If you want to go with the D70 go with an D70HD and ask him to take a picture of the D70 stamp. If it's an D70HD you can also tell by the bigger 4" axle tubes.
