Dantes peak toyota

I'm not really a Toyota guy but these are pretty cool and would be fun to have.

Really like that last camper.

Look what I just found on my local craigslist.

$18,500 for a 1985 right-hand-drive truck with 200,000 miles? That's nuts, I can buy a fleet of diesel Blazers for that price. :eek1:

I know they're not the same, but these rigs aren't special enough to warrant that price, IMO.
These trucks bring those prices in markets where they are rare on the regular. It why I tried to stop lust ing after one...

Don't get me started... We have diesels over here 42s 60s 70s and 80s but the 80s are imports and Rhd. Sold my 84 BJ 42 forteen years ago and I'm still pissed off!
Found a 85 Diesel 60 for 4500 with 380 thousand klms two days ago that I would have loved to have.... good buy! IMO. Don't got the money to spend. unfortunately.

I've been driving Dads Toyota since the tranny line in my 'burb came loose. The 'burb is fixed, but the toy has a/c!

It really is a nice truck. My buds at work have been joking me on downsizing since my weight loss...

Haha! Mid size Ray!

I wouldn't hesitate to own one should the opportunity arise.

I said the same thing almost on your FB post about it. They are the Japanese k5 equivalent. Haha, I couldn't hate on old Toyotas if I tried.

lol! the air cleaner is damn near as big as the truck!

Here's something else we didn't get, an FJ60 with barn doors.

Yep badass. They made that and 70s in "troopy" models with barn doors and taller back roof sections so 4+ guys could sit against the side window with fold down seats. They can be converted to awesome wheeler/campers.
