Dear Eastcoast 4WD, I would like my parts. Now.

So this was not a custom one off difficult part that you were making. Just some stuff that someone paid you for and you had to 1) throw in a box 2) address and 3) get to UPS. Yeah, I have no problem seeing how that could result in a long delay.

I bet his tone would be different if he had been slow getting paid.

well, its not his paying customer.

oh wait... you were given money, by a person who you came into contact with through a website where you represent yourself as a parts supplier. you then didnt ship parts. my guess is, anyone who reads this wont be worrying about your lack of business skills anyways. hopefully you wont be worrying about the income that you would have recieved from them.

Now guys Danny just flubbed up and we should give him a break. I mean we all screw up at some point in our lives. The IMPORTANT thing here is that we not rush to hang him. First we will give him a fair trial by his peers before we hang him. (JK)

But no hopefully he learned a good lesson of K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid). Heck we all at one time or another have frecked up. But we learn from it and move on if he does or doesn't we will see.

OK? When the guy gets the part and he POST how everything is we can then close this chapter of HALL OF SHAME!

I"m Doug Lu Allen saying if some one does you wrong. Don't take matters into your hands. Take em to the CK5 forums!

please, for the love of god, tell me you're kidding.:doah:

I agree with can can on this 100 percent, I got you brother. ;)

I have some other things on my mind but Ill keep them to my myself for now. I would have liked to see a more sincere apology instead of excuses. To me as a customer that makes a huge difference. All that would have had to been said was, "Im sorry for the delay, I have been terribly busy, there was a mix up when the package was suppossed to leave but its in the mail right now. Thanks for doing business with me." Thats it, thread would have went away. I know where Ill stand when/if I need custom parts made. I know kert has always been good to me. :eek1:

Like I said lets wait and see how the parts are. I agree the guy could of been a little more sincere and not like he was. In any business it should be the customer is number one. But it seems more and more its "if you don't like it go some where else". And I do There are some business I will not deal with no mater what because of ahole workers.

I went to a local parts store (been buying parts there for years) to try and buy a Permatex dash repair kit. I had found them on internet and wanted to keep the money local (money here jobs here). The woman at the counter was like well if you can get it off the internet why are you here. You want me to see if we can get why don't you just order it off internet.

I said "I am glade you like your job! Because you just lost all my business because of your attitude." I told the manager the next day and he was like I can't belive she was like that. I told the butt head they would not be seeing one dime out of me for anything anymore and I was restoring a truck so they lost my money ,brake parts, exhaust system, gasket sets, lights and all the other crap.

More people need to stand up to Sh*ty sales people and customer service. Go in a big box store and if they don't help you when they finaly come over and say do you need any help say no I'm just doing my christmas shop lifting early.
:haha: or do as a guy I knew did he made cards that said "I want to thank you and your friend for talking about your date or whatever and not checking if I needed anything. It made it so much easier for me to steal from the store. I will let my friends know." he would walk by and slide it on to the counter as he left.

What does that have to do with anything?

Bottom line is that the guy didn't see shipping the parts as a big "priority". If I spend money with you (and you got the money and I'm sure it was cashed/deposited long before the parts shipped), then you had better make it snappy on the shipping, or provide me with reasons otherwise, or at least let me know that you will ship the parts whenever you get around to it, and probably won't return my calls/emails/pms :surepal: .

btw, Dan, great way to be appologetic and win over the hearts of your potential customers. Good luck with your business.

The parts got to my house today. I'm outta town right now, but I hear they're in good condition.
