DELETE - FT 78 Blazer - Cummins, 14bff, d60, Houston area

I just bought an engine lift and engine stand from Northern tools to drop the tpi 350 into the bird. If I get the engine swap done before the truck goes then the truck most likely will go nowhere - unless something sweet comes up.

I've been driving the Blazer the past few days and really miss it. I just put diesel in it last week from when you brought it down 4 months ago.
 
All I can say is - WOW! Very nicely done Blazer. I'm not in the market but if I was I would be looking long and hard at this one. I hate to say it but I'm pulling for the engine swap in the 'bird. I'd hate to see someone let something go that they put that much into. I know how much goes into these things. I sometimes find myself thinking I should have found one just like this and saved myself alot of time. Anyways, just wanted to say REALLY nice K5 and good luck either way it turns out.
BTW, how long was it in BR? I wish I had seen it around town. I definitely would have stopped and checked it out! :wink1:
 
I think about 1 1/2 years built like it is - lived in Central. I just used it for work during the winter. Work was in Geismar so I didn't get out to Walker much. It saw Watson a few times though.

I now have a man-fridge for the garage also. The time for the bird is near now.
 
NOT FOR SALE OR TRADE. Changed my mind. Took it for a long ride today down the interstate, country roads, and through the city and I just don't want to let it go. It drives too good to let it go and have to start over again in a couple of years.
 
Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! I think you made the right choice, without a doubt. Plus it buys me some more time to save up some $$$ so I can buy it if you ever hit your head again and decide to sell it! Enjoy!

I'll have to show you my new jewel soon. Crawfish boil is in april but they are already coming in season now. I forgot how much I missed my fullsize, even with this gas guzzler its sweet to have a dd k5 back in the drive. I'm actually selling one of my 4bt's to get the 4l80e in this DD and rebuild my other 4bt to drop in either of the blazers. I'm glad you came to as well, maybe next time you do decide to sell I can be on my toes and catch you off guard before you change your mind yet again:eek1:
 
Damnit! Back from holiday vacation and lost my chance at that beast. :( Should have got off my butt and gone down to check it out when I had my chance... dough (Homer Simpson voice). If you change your mind, let us know... I won't make the same mistake twice:o.
