Good times. I did that up for a relative who has a Rubicon. They're good vehicles too, but it's always good to poke fun at them anyway.

Not a cop anymore. Work security for Godaddy. Better pay, better benifits, none of the stress...... But, I still pick up doughnuts once a week....

I understand, you have to do what is best for you and your family. Better pay and benifits are hard to pass up, and so is shiply's. :D

be safe

I have 2 rigs.

1 Jeep XJ with LOTS of work done by me.
and
1 'burb with SOME work but becoming lots.

There is a place for each.

In tight trails with trees all over I take my Jeep.
and
In the mud I take my 'burb.

That being said I prefer to drive the 'burb. I love Jeeps  so it's not a brand thing, the 'burb just feels better (read more stable & stronger). When I jump on the gas it moves like it should. Since i got the 'burb I've been tryin to recreate it's strength & stable feeling in the Jeep, to do this means EXO cage & a 350/350 combo. I still haven't dicided if i'm going to or not  , I keep haveing thoughts of a MANGLED 1 Ton K5 bouncin against trees to go up a tight trail   .

in the last few days ive had 2 threads locked on the jeep site. they are cry babies, and its their way or no way. most of them are web wheelers. ive posted more wheeling pics than anyone on the site. but since i dont have a long arm kit and 33 or 35's they think im nothing. all i can say to the cry babbies is while your on the net ill be on the trail. too many guys out there who think there cool cause they got a jeep. id like to kick the trail rated badge of the fender...hehehhe-chris

"their way or no way" sums it up nicely. it's the people that think that way (too damn many) that wear on my nerves. why can i say a jeep has a place, but they can't admit a k5, or even bronco has a place, too? makes them seem really insecure, to me. i must say, though, the real offroad jeep guys seem less obnoxious about it. they've seen other brands and styles of truck perform competently. and they say thank you when i tow them out. it's mainly the poseurs who almost never leave the pavement who are such jerks.

i know we all have are opinions about didderent 4x4's. i still stay stock to stock jeep is going to do more off road then any other truck.
Maybe a truck, but not a Stock FJ40 landcruiser.

Jeeps are for, when they get stuck at an obstacle, us fullsizes have something to crawl over. :D
The other day I was up at a trail in Colorado (spring creek) I got up there at 5pm, there was 4 jeeps at a station in Idaho springs filling up with air,I pulled in to talk to them, I asked if there was alot of people on the trail still.
Then we started talking 4x4 stuff, I told him I was thinking of putting all my blazer stuff in my landcruiser, He said, why, He thought it was different and pretty cool to see a fullsize rig on the trails.
