Still Alive
I am going to lock the 14 bolt on my Jimmy. I have narrowed it down to a Detroit or Grizzly locker. Any opinions or recommendations?

Grizzly mainly for what other guys have said. You can get parts for em.
I haven't seen a grizzly and detroit 14 b, but the 60 grizzly looks way better than the 60 detroit
problem i dont like also in the snow is if full locked to start there is nothing to help save you if you get stuck . just like going in in 4wd and getting stuck . you have nothing left unless you have a winch and a place to pull from .
but each to his own i guess. i just been there and done it my self in snow.

Iced roads it takes a totally different driving style. Every time you spin your back end starts going off the road, very rare are roads flat and with both tires spinning you slide to the down hill side on any kind of an iced road.
You also have to be more careful with throttle application, smooth is the key to driving safely on icy roads with an automatic locker.
I have had a rear locker in what I drove in the winter for nearly 14 years. Never bothered me much.
