It flows out pretty good Adam, I've used it too. much more durable than a spray can.
And you definitely gotta change that block color....Aluminum FTW...LOL!

Ignore Dave on this one, he paints his engines/transmissions/tcases backwards! (all the aluminum is colored and all the iron is aluminum:dunno:). It's kind of a ricer move painting your iron aluminum colored. Hey Dave, are you going to make it "look like you have NOS", but not actually have it too? (You supposedly pronounced it "naws" like it's not an acronym).

The FTW thing confused me already!! haha. I do love your engine though, but I would feel Like I was copying lol, nobody wants that. I think Black will do it because it will look better longer and have to be cleaned less to look good. I think I will do somehting with the heads though, Idk what color, alluminum valve covers, blasted to "aluminum" with black fins. I think the heads need to be something different than black or silver. But not orange or god for bid Lime green :doah: sorry jesse, but me no like lime green lol, or any green for that matter.
 
$35 a qt!!!:eek1: holy cow, but if you say its that good. The brushing on doesnt give it an odd look compared to spray??

Ya its pretty self leveling. If you look closely yes you can see some brush strokes where I might have gone a little heavy. Do at least 2-3 coats for the best and complete coverage. Plus its about 90x easier not having to deal with overspray if you want to do multiple colors.

Im not saying I hate it, looks really good on that 355:waytogo:. But Im definately not one to go with the crowd if you know what I mean. If your not a little different than what are you??

Plus I dont really go for big bright colors that jump out like that. Maybe if I could get an orange, say like Ryokens rig, now that would be cool, but engine colors are limited so oh well Black will look just fine, and maybe a shot of the anodized purple on the heads, Im a big fan of dark purple and anything anodized.

NO MUD!!!! Lol I hate that stuff . Only time my truck will see mud will be in grandpas feild at deer camp maybe after a couple lol. Thats about the only thing that will get me into mud. Unless its a bet..... :thumb:

I gotta get a couple good pics of the engine sitting all painted up nice.
 
I hate that mud stuff too, on a nice rig anyway. I spent 2 hrs cleaning the underside of my burb after that little bit of mud I took it through. I'm not done yet either. I'm gonna lay under there with a wet rag and wipe down all the body and frame I can reach. MUD SUCKS. but I hate sand too so thats why I gotta move to the rocks:D

No no no, sand is just great, it sandblasts all the gunk off for you!!! Just watch out for it getting into any micrscopic crevis it can find lol. If you got a bad seal anywhere, say goodbye to whatever part the seal goes to lol.

I like the looks of this engine in the jeep. Just black, and I have the aluminum slotted edelbrock valve covers, and the edelbrock performer rpm that will be shined up soon enough, an I want to go with silver on the headers. I think that will look sweet!!!

Have you guys heard about the Anti Seize header thing? Put antiseize all over the headers with a rag, carefully install them, turn the engine on and go away from the fumes and for 15 min, let cool, repeat, and apparantly it bakes the aluminum in the antiseize on and it creates are really nice non chpping aluminum coat on the headers. I looks really cool too. Theirs a thread on here somewhere, ill find it.
