In all honesty thats exactly what im going for. Not jacked up, just clean looking, with enough power and driveline to put the trash talkers in their place (in my rearview mirror)
Im all for hearing that engine sing to me with no muffling. Mmmmm![]()

Brand new emblems really help make a clean look. I thought I got my old ones cleaned up really good, until I just went ahead and bought new NOS emblems and put them side by side my old ones.Oh yah im sure it does. So I may as well get my fun out of the way now right
I saw this today online. It makes me want some new paint really really badAnd I really need some of those k5blazer trim logo thingamajigs

Sounds familiar.
Mine needs a paintjob SOOOO bad.
lol. Somebody tried to paint it once before. Im scared to sand the paint down and see how much bondo their really is... As far as your exhaust, just run it the way it is (hopefully it doesn't fall off in the mean time) and just save up enough to go to an exhaust shop and have them build you a system with some good mufflers like PYPES PERFORMANCE VIOLATORS.![]()

I think its cool to a point.
3 years ago I had headers into 4" sidepipes open....sounded really good until your doing 4000 rpm down the highway for a 1/2 hour
Gets kind of annoying at that point.

I have stopped using the copper and plastic and started using the Braided Pressure Gauge Line. Like the racers use, you can get it from speedway motors for $20. Linky http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Braided-Pressure-Gauge-Line-Kit,4147.html
. well I plan on runnin the copper line till something happens I guess, its paid for so Ill run it. Im gonna grab an 1/8" compression cap from work one of these days to keep in my glove box just in case I have a leak I will have something to be a temporary fix and cap that fitting off.So, i think your on the right track with the hanger deal. I would add more nuts and washers everywhere and make them self locking nuts or jam nut them. My worry is that the exhaust will bounce around too much without nuts and washers keeping it more firmly in place. Whole exhaust just looks like it needs pushed up about 10" or so. Is there any way to do that? Or does the system not allow for that?
. So basically it is as high as it will go for the time being, untill I can get it running and bring it to an exhaust shop where they will make the correct fittings up for me. Basically I need like a 60* bend on the driver side, and maybe a 50* bend on the passenger and they both need to have an offset in them horizontally to get around the spring shackles. Its kinda hard to explain I guess. I know these headers were not made for this style truck.See the guy at the exhaust shop told me that this was a system just for a k5 blazer, he may have been correct if I had the long tube headers... but the headers I have shoot down so oddly that theirs no way with the fittings I could find that arent specially made that I could fit the system above the tranny cross member. I will make sure to add some locking nuts and washers to keep those hangers from getting loose for the time being, and ill drive it for a bit before I get it fixed, just to make sure everything else is working properly.

Hint hint kert
Dug up some old pics today of my dads old 91 burb. I cant remeber if ive posted pics up before or not, but oh well lol.
These were both me driving it the summer I turned 16, and the first day I ever got to drive on the dunes.
Thing was stock as could be with 33"s on it, loved that truck. Had dual glasspacks and was loud as s!!! I felt so cool driving it to school the first day of school after I got my license and my dad tossed the keys at me when I walked out the door instead of driving the old taurass.
Adam, have you got a new TV cable yet.......I wanna see that thing moving and purring down the road.
