hmm you have me thinking now, i was just talking about the original side wall things, with the leather material on it, but some boxes like that could be sweet, idk if it would fit too well on the pass side cuz of the spare tire holder...

Yeah I have none of them there "original sidewall things" you speak of :dunno:
I'm going to ditch the spare tire holder. Not having anything but bare metal to the inside, I think these may cut done on road noise and such also. I mean putting them there has got to make it quieter than having nothing at all. Oh thats where the speakers come in, to make it loud, so you can blare your new system all the time:pimp:

haha good call man. Im actually putting carpet in lol. Possibly some type of insulation underneath to get rid of that noisyness lol. Then I can listen to my Beethoven in peace.....

just kidding bout that last part:D:saweet:

Well I used to blast the tunes. Then I dropped that sexy motor in and I find myself listening to that much more often than the radio:D

I've had a sub box in my truck since I bought it, its a heavy mother. Build a console like I did and put your 6x9's in it ;)

I got to do a console sometime too. Mine is like a cheap one from WalMart or something that the PO screwed a piece of 2x4 to so it would sit level in the truck:doah:

6.5s in the door, 4x6s or whatever we have stored from our old boat in the attic could go in the console, 6x9s in them there custum boxes front, and the subs in the rear or something like that is what I'm thinkin. :saweet::woot:

INTERIOR
- Make some new rear sidewall things... The ones on there are like plywood with crappy matieral over top. I havnt decided what I want to do with them. Diamond plate would be sweet but way pricy. I could do a nice wood and stain them, or get some nicer material to cover with.
Install all my nice new carpet thats been on the floor in my room since summer.

Its not that bad:D I've ordered from these guys and I'm happy with them. shipping aint bad either.

As for the speakers, get components for the front. put the 5.25 or 6.5 in the door or kick panel and the tweeter in the factory spot in the dash pointed at the windshield. www.onlinecarstereo.com Find what ya want here:waytogo:

Better there than in the salt.

They salted the roads on Friday here. For no good reason either.

It's a garage queen again!

Surprised me that they salted. Only in town and rather slip shod in their application. Think it was due to everything being wet from all the rain we got earlier in the week and then it getting very cold those nights. Just kills me though. In Northern Michigan they wouldn't have even thought about putting sand down in those conditions.

Then again half the cars here have bald tires.
