Wow. I tune out for the weekend and wind up with 100 new posts in this thread alone. :eek1:
And for once this thread seems to be more tech posts than pad posts.

Nice to know that the Ford springs are so easily compatible with what we are already running (wouldn't have guessed that on my own). I like what you've accomplished, and I can't wait to see the pics of you getting airborne. :deal:

So I didnt get a ton done tonight. But I was only there for 2 hours.

It has been bothering me ever since I put the shocks in, that I didnt make the guessets go out to the end of the tube.

So today I made some pretty beef vertical guessets. I didnt really like the round shape to them, but it was the only way to make them stay beefy at the end where the actual forces on the tube will be.

So I remove the shocks and bumps and....

Tossed some flat black on everything as well.

They definitely don't come out very easily. I couldn't get mine to budge and that was even when the whole rear floor was out and I had easy access to it all. Ended up just reusing it with the shocks I replaced. Of course it could be cut out. But again, not much access now with the floor in on mine or yours.

Yah it doesn't bother me that much. I remember trying to take one of them out a long time ago and it was really on there.

My shock bolts popped out easy. I replaced them awhile back because my new shocks came with new ones and I figured it'd be good to have fresh threads.

I've only changed 4 of these, but I didn't have any problem removing them. In fact, one of them removed itself! :doah:
