Dinos git down 2022 and beyond!

I'm really trying to make this, rain or not. Are we meeting up somewhere Friday morning to go get in line so we can park together?

The weather is now saying only 1% chance on Friday. Who's going and are we going to meet up beforehand?

I think I'd have to leave my house at 3:30 to get there by 4:30. I thought the plan was to get in line at 6?

Yeah, weather forecast is looking much better now!

I might not be able to show up until super late unfortunately. Sitter cant come until after my wife starts work.

We're looking to get in line around 6 or 6:30AM, we can meet up with anyone that wants to, but if we don't here anything different, that's our plan.

I've not had time to clean up my truck it's not presentable at the moment. But may show up later as a spectator.

I'm not a car show guy honestly so you'll need to get other peoples opinions. There was every type of GM truck you could think of there and all the vendors that support them. It was fun, but honestly I waited in line to get in longer than we were there. The picture I took was us "in line" to get in, we got off I-10 near the stadium at about 6:30 and it took us another 30 minutes to get into the staging lot. Ben (Babaganoosh) came from a different direction, was "in line" to get into the staging lot at 4:30AM and somehow we got in before he did.
I didn't get parked in the car show area until 9:50, we walked around the vendor area, had a beer and lunch, walked around the car club area and part of the car show area and left around 2PM.

I was really trying to get ideas for a twin turbo setup in my truck, but even with all that walking and looking under the hoods I only found a half dozen trucks (only 2 in my body style) with twins. If I was looking for a supercharger, there were hundreds of examples of that, exact opposite of what I see at the track.

If I were to go again, I'd do the club thing, you can get your car club registered and set up Thursday night before the big crowd comes in. Then I'd show up early and watch all the trucks drive in. I did see Ben there, but he was hanging out with his friends and we wandered around by ourselves. I wouldn't go again unless it was a group meetup and we had a nice place to hang out between wandering around the show, electric scooters would have been nice too. We must have walked 5-6 miles yesterday.

That’s great information, thank you.
I just got a scooter for track days myself.

Saw only trucks in your photo. Am now thinking my burb wouldn't be allowed in on Friday.
