The triple-stick is almost finished.

Not bench pressing transmissions this time. It sure is great having friends with shops, lifts, & transmission jacks!

Get er done!
Trying, brother.

I got the fo speed in, behemoth on, & np205 bolted up by the end of the day. Wrapped up by leaving a bottle of Lucas upside down in the funnel going into the tc because it was flowing too slowly. I meant to get a pic of it all sitting in there but I forgot until after I had left.

This pic taken immediately before lunch shows Lucas going into the 465 so I could leave the shifter hole taped up until stabbed in. Didn't want to nurse that stuff in there because it was too thick. This pre-lubed the main shaft too. I couldn't remember if I had lubed 1st gear sufficiently upon reassembly so this definitely took care of that. I'll pour the 80-90 lube in some time after church tomorrow.

I had the luxury of using lifts & jacks today but I'll still be a little stiff tomorrow because that's still hard work!

Bolted the crossover pipe back in today & finished pouring lube in the TC & trans. After that, began the pedal swap by removing the auto brake pedal. I'll mod the auto pedal for the manual pedal pad to fit.

Had to come home mid afternoon so made a boot for the triple-stick. It's 100% hand-sewn because I can't find a bobbin for my machine.

Before I came home, I managed to get a pic of how the interior is coming together with the four new levers. I would like to be posting more pics but it seems like my phone is always dying when I go to take pics. Oh, well.

nice touch with the lights... :waytogo:
Thanks, Paul.

I'm feeling another m-55 casing on the 465 cane. It's too low & too short for my taste. The 20mm shell casing will add another 5 inches of length and I'll have to tweak the cane for height. If Martin Rabe's black cane ever arrives, I'll see if this one has been bent. It seems to be too low.

If his doesn't show up soon, this one will be blasted & powdercoated & I'll adjust it before. Also, he original boot for the 465 is torn so I'll try one from Classic Parts or LMC.

I need help with something. The flywheel that I got from NAPA has fewer teeth than the flexplate I took off. I took a screwdriver and pulled the drive gear out to see if the two would mesh and one tooth engaged the flywheel. When I turned the flywheel a little, the next tooth on each gear made almost dead-on contact with each other. Here's the fouled up part: All the information I can find with parts vendors shows the tooth count on the flywheels to be the same.
