So, I mentioned that my older friend, whose shop I was using, wanted me out of there at 7pm daily. While I certainly respect him & his shop, I don't get off work until 5pm so I was limited to two hours per day. That wasn't gonna cut it. That's why the rigging with the straps became a necessity. Once I got the rig where she'd crank & drive, I was out of there!
I got a lot done today in my two-hour allotment. I had to detach the dash and work the pedal bracketry in with the brake pedal attached, hang the clutch pedal and attach the master support rods, bolt the master in, plug in all the crap I had to unhook for re-routing yesterday, and bolt the dash and all back in.
After all that, I hooked the negative battery cable back up, cranked her up, checked everything over, then drove home!
There aren't many pics but I'm pretty happy to have driven her for the first time in almost 4 months! These are all the pics that I have for now. I'll be doing more pictures from now on since things will be moving at a more comfortable pace!
