DIY4X engine crossmember question....HELP PLEASE!!!

If it makes Hoby feel any better, I just replaced my oil pan gasket and had a lot of trouble getting the stock crossmember bolts to line up again, even though they were the exact same holes a few hours earlier. If I have to do that again, I'm going to do the crossmember while I'm at it.
 
Ohhhh crap. You shoulda just did the cross member now.:doah::haha::D

Probably. I didn't replace the rear main seal either and I probably should have. The front and rear oil pan seals were leaking and I was hoping that was it, but I'm starting to see a little oil back there already. I'll give it a week or two and see.
 
Wrenching through the troubleshooting process by the Ol' process of elimination is a mother. On my list of possible solutions to any problem on my vehicles, it almost always ends up being the last one.:doah:

Bingo! And I tend to fock up that last option.:crazy:
