DJz Blazer

I bought a new 50 amp alternator. I think my stocker is 20 amp?

Anything I need to do to my electrical system to handle the higher amperage??

I think stock is 60 so you might need one with more zero's. :)

I believe you are right. Now I need to go find out what alternator to buy...:surepal:

Hopefully I can pickup something on sale at the Safari this weekend. And I'm kinda waiting on a friend to tell me what to do with my electric system. But in all fairness I only started bugging him this week.

If it helps, I run a CS130 you can get any any autoparts store. Once you get rid of the external regulator, you can pick most any alternator you want if you can find brackets or make them.

Well, almost ready for the long trip to the Salton Sewer for the Safari, TDS the place.... .
Installed a tach and found a APP for my phone that tells me how fast I'm going.

Spent an hour on the phone with Stephen today.....
That's gonna cost me....

He actually remembered delivering the donor Blazers front axle.

Yah! thats never a cheep phone conversation. But it's so worth it. Funny, power steering failures must be in the air did mine about 3 weeks ago.

And somehow the previous owner managed to screw up the inside of the key way in the original pulley......:what:

"Hmm, thats why my pulley won't go on...there's a hunk of metal on there blocking it. I know, I'll fix it...just let me get my grinder out." :doah::grind::hack:

And after saying the donor Blazer has pretty much everything I need to the wife....

This drops in my lap...

I have not bought it, can't afford it, shouldn't buy it.....
