DJz Blazer

Just an FYI if interested, the old corvettes (forgot the year) also use rams horn manifolds that are larger at the outlet for better flow. It was a noticeable difference in power when I swapped them on. You can get two left side ones from any autoparts store and grind off the accessory bosses you don't need.

Thats what I read too. I just assumed thats what DJ was putting on. Good to mention it.

All the Dormans cross-referenced to the same part at the parts store that could get them same day on a Saturday. There are lots of aftermarket ones but none of their flanges were machined, and I'm kinda out of time, KOH next weekend.. I rarely rev the motor over 3000 rpm. I'm just tired of exhaust leaks and a way to quiet exhaust note. Not sure what condition the motor is in, don't want to find out by revving it out.

Good Lord

I think they have the Midas touch to turn good things to shit. That is comically bad. Like you can't make this stuff up.

I'd go right back and have them lift it up. Then just point and say REALLY?

I would cut it off and throw it through their front window.

Good lord, I can't believe someone would do that kind of work and feel good enough to charge for it. What a bunch of :poop:.

Got the exhaust replaced. Very happy FMS Performance in Palm Springs.

Went with 2.25 tube, like me some back pressure. Got the sound I wanted and it pulls a lot stronger when I push it past 3k rpm.

I still get some exhaust in the cab. Not sure if it's the seals in the back window and tailgate or should the exhaust point to the back or down to the ground??

It needs to exit past the body, either out the side so it can disperse before it gets to the low pressure area out back.. I never was able to stop that smell when it went to the back of the truck, only when it's out the side..
