So, if you were to do the swap again -- Approx how long / how much would it cost you this go around?
What did you do for the fuel system (electric lift pump or mechanical? Return system?) and what about the engine mounts (Same as a gen III LSx?)? Custom engine crossmember to fit that giant oil pan?
Details would be awesome!

I spent 6k on a rolled truck 1500 + on a D60 front axle 7500 on a Suncoast 5 transmission 1k on the 205 setup and Im sure you could add at least 5k on other bs parts
Labor Is in the 300 to 500 hour range I bet

Duramax's dont need a lift pump. However I wouldnt run a diesel without a lift pump so I have a Fass 150/150
I used factory mounts andbuilt my own crossmember. I still have planned to do a "Greggs might as well" frame boxing trick
Details would be awesome!

IMO its not ready to be seen in public. I kind anal abut it and I cant afford to finish it.Take it to the Bash, thats my suggestion![]()

nice2nd round

since i too have a 72 blazer what do you think my best options would be for an automatic transmission

I used an allison and FYI the engine is set up for left side drive shaft clearance. I used an NP205 FORD case with a Cummins manual trans 205 input gear and coupler that I got at Six States. I made my own adapter out of a big hunk of round billet aluminum. I used a Ford driver side drop Dana 60 front axle
