Do check me out. Lights good! Now no start :(

Make sure none of the stop/tail turn signal dual filament bulbs dont have a broken filament thats touching the other one inside the bulb--see that often and its easy to miss, cause the bulbs still "work"..
Also make sure it has the right bulbs,I see lots of older vehicles that are supposed to have 1157 or 1034 bulbs with 2057's stuck in them--they are "opposite",you'll have bright running lamps, and dim brake lamps..and having one wrong bulb can throw things off..

I know you said you replaced the bulbs, but you didn't say "all" the bulbs..as stated already, bad grounds and lamp sockets can cause this too,one ground wire under the dash attaches near the e-brake and it can get pulled off,and cause a lot of issues, and the ones at the radiator support...also the turn signal switch can cause this too..but not often..

Well I suppose that might depend on you.

I'm not doing anything except all the stuff I have to do.

Which unfortunately is gonna just get more.

Have them both off wanna maybe go camping. Was thinking about near Afton. But really not sure yet dont know the kids or wife scedule yet.

I'm not sure if it's been said before, but check your grounds.

We could do a bit of a thrash fest on the burb next weekend, I have Thursday and Friday off too.

So after much investigation. All my lights work.

Many of the wires were tapped into or just plain brittle enough to just break

Batteries both read 12.89

So I have nothing. No headlights no nothing. No hazards. No horn. Nothing

I have a solenoid on the driver side. I haven't had that before.

Power is not making it through the solenoid.

The power block on the firewall is reading 12.14 on both sides.

Unless the ignition is on then it reads .435.

Still no power through the solenoid.

Classic symptom of a cruddy battery connection. Check typical stuff. Like grounds. :pimp:

If you're losing everything at once the problem can't be far downstream of the battery.

If your truck is like mine, the GP relay is grabbing power from the driver battery while everything else feeds off of the passenger battery. If the connection between the two batteries breaks down you may see one side working while the other side doesn't.

I'm guessing that I have a wiring issue with my starter or the wiring.

But if I crawl under the rig I might not be able to stand back up.

So it will sit till my head feels better.

It's not the fusible link either I checked it voltage on both sides

I checked everything I can while standing up. It all checks so I imagine it's a lower connection or the actual starter
