The solenoid that you photographed is what an '84 6.2 truck should have running its glow plugs. Are you saying the Jimmy's solenoid is smaller? Or that there's a second (smaller) one on this truck?

I'm guessing that I have a wiring issue with my starter or the wiring.
But if I crawl under the rig I might not be able to stand back up.
So it will sit till my head feels better.
It's not the fusible link either I checked it voltage on both sides
I checked everything I can while standing up. It all checks so I imagine it's a lower connection or the actual starter

Power at the battery.
Power down the cable on both sides.

Yep, check the connection at the starter. Problem hasta be between the battery and that junction block, and there isn't much in between.
