What rear axle would it have? If it has a D60 it is mine, i'm sure I could make my money back fast, what say you brotherhood?

scoop it up....see if it's got kingpins if you can...im pretty sure they were all kingpins back then. if it's kingpins its deff. a D60. either way, 175 you can't go wrong.

i say DO IT.

So should I admit I have an addiction, if I got a fuzzy warm feeling when I read the ad line? :screwy:

So i'm guessing its 100% a D60, so did I find my jackpot or is it just me? :eek1::saweet::yikes:

So i'm pretty much about to have a heart attack, he didn't list his number, just an e-mail :doah:so i'm gonna be on edge till he e-mails me back.

Wish me luck, I figure it will be free basically, because I can bet I can make more then 175 bucks off that dodge, what motor would it have? tranny? transfer case? anything else I could use? I'm not gonna use a D60 rear, 14bff all the way.

Where'd you find this at?? That don't look like Pennsylvania....

Yeah, of course. They are pretty much identical to the chevy d60 correct? the spring pads are just a little off, I believe thats correct? Anyway yeah, i'm gonna wait on his e-mail and go snag it asap after I check it out, I have a trailer, def too small to fit it on, unless I cut the frame right at the back of the cab :hack::screwy::whistle:

d60s are scarce around here because all the 1 tons have been worked hard and crushed up when they die.

If the guy doesn't get back to me, I have a line on a u pull it place, that says 4x4 truck front and rear axles any one for 75, with a 15 dollar core. So either or i'm gonna go check that out, and if so, i'll be pulling more then one hah

yeah good luck with that. every yard in Pa has been picked clean of any dana 60's. I stop in my local yards every couple of weeks just in case something new comes in. I had a friend score a 60 for $150 because he was at the yard when they towed the truck in. he missed one a week earlier because the yard called him and told him they had one in, he got in his truck and drove right there, someone had bought it before he could. you are not the only person looking for them. everyone I know has one and would buy another if they found it.

scoop it up wicked score i got my dodge d60 for free but 175$ is a damn good deal 70 - 93 dodge 3/4 ton and 1 tons all had kingpin 60's

The only 3/4 ton Dodge I have ever saw with a 60 front had a cummins under the hood, and a good portion of those were Dana 61's.Most had a 44 front with the CAD.It's hard to tell but the hubs look kinda small to me for a 60.Either way it's worth the money.

Always check that it has a 60, somebody could have swapped the axles.

X2,I have seen it more than once.

90 bucks for a frontend...killer, no matter the type, if in good shape you could make a few bucks off them by being in the know of where to get em...take a pad & pen and take inventory!

One of the main guy's I buy from will call and say"I got another one of them big rearends".He dont know a 60 from a 10 bolt, all he knows is I'll be there in a couple of days with $150.

There is very few places/people that dont know about a Dana 60.

Yeah, not saying i'm going to find any at the place, just that maybe i'll get lucky, I know the yard is very big, so I just might. And I know what you mean about the hubs, if he contacts me i'll ask some questions to maybe clue me in. thanks for the info guys.

At least for the later model Dodge's (~'90's and up) if the 3/4 ton has a Cummins it has a D60 under the front.

I think 89 might have been the first year for the Cummins in those truck's.I bought a wrecked Cummins truck that had a 61 under the front and I'm thinking it was a 89 model. The best way to tell is to look at the tag(if it's still there)and if it's a 3:07 ratio it's a 61.
