dollar amount you got in your rigs?

$350 (rustbucket blazer)
$75 (brakelines and wheel cylinders)
$100 (starter)
$300 (35's on American Racing Aluminum Rims)

+ Future Plans
$300 (Floorboards)
4" lift

as of right now $925 ish

Probably upward of $5000. I don't like to think about it, it depresses me. Knowing I'll never get that much out of it.

It's not even all that fancy for all the blood, sweat, tears, and money I've put into it.

Ya I hear ya man, I had to do a little bit of wheelin to remind me why i have all this money in a 78' blazer

Most of my money went into repairs from either 20 year old part failures or wheeling incidents. Then the junky lift and tires, and some odds and ends...

i feel so much better thanks for that post now my wife will get off my tail. i told her i was sonna have a good trail rig and i told her i was gonna start rock crawlin then she seen this and said i can spend what i want as long as i stay off the rocks

give it enough time and it can happen to you too. I started out wheeling it stock and driving it to work everyday. I would go on rides that I now consider a nice day in the woods.

then it became a mud truck and I was flat towing it to trails in case I broke something. still driving it on the road for fun and driving my 2000 sierra the rest of the time.

Bought a trailer, 44's and a dana 60 and most have paid for them with my worries about body damage. first trip out with the 60 under it and I tore the steering box off the frame and destoyed the body getting it back to the trailer.

I kind of miss the way the truck was setup when it looked like this.

I never think about how much I will get out of it for selling it,I think of the money as how much fun Iwill get out of it.

Gettin on toward $20K! Adding insult to injury, the Jimmy doesn't run right now either.:( One day though, one day the pile of parts and the non-running truck will combine and be a sweet rig!:D Hopefully by May.

As I said before, Never under any circumstance tally the reciepts!!

A quick run down of just the major stuff ($20,000) leads me to think, I would have been better off making a down payment on a new house!

Somewhere between $10,000 and $40,000.....

I don't really want to know where specifically.

:usaflag:

probably about 15k including the 4 trucks i bought to make one. Forgot to mention that it costs me about 100 bux a month to even own the truck, not including the cost to use it. (ins+reg+gas just to keep it running) Ive had the truck for 5 years.
