DONE!!!Narrow progress pics-Moab pics 4-16-06

i'm sure you've heard this plenty of times, but DAMN that thing is SWEET! i hope it's ok if i steal a few ideas :D b/c i'm planning on doing the same thing to my '72. have the whole thing apart. i'll be running a very similar setup. i'm wondering if your frame is boxed, if not will you? if it is, then did you box the whole thing? as i'm trying to make plans for my tapering it seems to me that the front fenders will be quite difficult. i guess i will have to see about that. great job & keep us Gen1 guys salivating. :saweet:

No I don't plan on boxing the frame. My suspension is going to be so flexible that the frame won't have much stress on it. I thought the same, that the rear would be easy and the front would be hard but to me it turned out to be the opposite. That's why it's taking so long for me to get new pics beacuse the rear is taking forever, but I did build a complete new floor from the firewall back so that's been alot of it.

Any shots from the side at frame-level?

It looks like you managed to get that transfercase up quite a bit higher than stock??? Are you going for a flat bellypan, or close to it?

ORD doubler kit. Here's a side pic. It will be about four inches below the frame with a 3/8 steel plate crossmember.

Progress for sure!

Nice tranny/t-case skid plate. How thick?

What are you using on the interior floor for plate?
