Dream car wish list

Not including my 85 K5 and 71 Monte Carlo.

1-70 Chevelle
2-69 Camaro
3-67 Chevelle
4-69 Corvette
5-57 Bel Air
6-69 GTO
7-77 Trans Am
8-71 Cuda
9-70 Road Runner
10-67 Corvette

I like all of Martin's dream vehicles. I've got some of them already like the '73 wagon and 3rd gen Camaros... they just aren't very nice in my case. But my absolute dream car is a '70 Impala Custom Coupe that looks nearly stock but runs low 10's. Same deal, I've got the car... just need lottery money for the build.

You live in AK and you would pick A/C over an original Hemi? ;)
It only gets driven in the Summer and it gets hot here lol .

Besides I wouldn’t leave it stock and I prefer Wedge Motors more then Hemis . I’d probably go to 6-speed as well …….

Shit ! I dunno don’t question my sickness!!

My list is pretty short so far.
  1. K5...
  2. K30...
  3. Third gen Nova. I guess if I won the lottery I'd look at a Chevelle.
  4. 70's shortbed K10.
  5. I'd actually like a clean Impala cruiser like this: link

Lotto winnings? i would have a bunch of cars -bunch of them would get converted to run the T-56 with some kind of ls1 or later LS attached. my camaro had the t-56 and lt1... I want that drive train in EVERYTHING. Best feeling/shifting trans Ive ever owned. 2 overdrives... reliability and strength... to get the power to the ground, or .6 OD for 30+ MPG from a healthy V8... I want that transmission in everything... Probably start with an early chevelle, and also a late 60s el camino

and there are a lot of air cooled things that would end up on my ultimate list... none of them "stock" accept probbaly the 356...

manx resorter with the low sides is high on the list... more power and more suspension into it, but always wanted one.

couple of corvairs...

would love to have an early Ghia...

the 356...

You would like my neighbor's Corvair collection. With no Scouts on your list you're now forced to change your username.

Thought about it... and the 1962 Scout 80 That I built had all kinds of charm... probably more fun in that little thing than most of my other vehicles combined... but, as an "ULTIMATE"... or a "what would you buy if you won the lottery?" Its more of a been there/done that... would love to have one again someday, I just have many others above it on the list now.

-edit- oh hell, why not... I'm adding a scout to the ultimate list. Lowered, slight forward rake, 2wd, Camaro front IFS, and t-56/ LS1! -edit again lol - that means EARLY scout... 1961-63 with the fold down windshield.

I’d probably need a Jay Leno sized garage if I hit a big one. Finally got around to grabbing some photos for my current list. These are vehicles I’ve lusted after for a lot of years, others have come and gone, but these always seem to make the cut.

First one has been on my list since the 80s when my aunt had one. 1989 E24 BMW 635CSi/M6, probably the first euro car that excited me. It was this one before the Ferraris, Porsches, and Lambos.

The other Bimmer is a better version of the one I owned. 2003 E39 BMW M5 (I had an 03 530i). 400hp V8, 6 speed manual, RWD, it’s the coolest 4 door of its era.

I’ve owned 5 K5 Blazers, and currently have a 1969 C/10, but I’ve never had a first gen Blazer. So a 69 K5 has be on the list. Stock or not is the only question. This one would match my truck nicely.

Next is another one I already owned. 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4speed. Mine was was originally a Malibu 283/Powerglide, but rocked a warmed over 350/TH350, chevelle trim, buckets, and center console when I sold it. It was about the same color as this one.

The last one is bit of my anger at my dad over not selling me his ‘69 Camaro Z/28 that he bought in 1970. 1968 Firebird. All the first gen F-bodies are cool, but I really like the front clip on the 68 Poncho.

There are so many more, but that is my top five. If I actually won tonight I’d probably go buy this M715 that’s for sale locally.
