Dumb to run 33x12.5 on rally 15x8s?

And you had 32x11.5’s on your k5, and no issue ever? I’m debating between 31’s, 32’s or 33’s lol. Stock old springs. Trying to avoid tinkering with the suspension. I could throw a zero-rate under the front, but would rather not mess with it
I had 33x10.5's on the K5. Had ZERO issues with it, even with the worn out dead springs.
They were sagging 2" from stock. The only thing they were good for was holding the axle in place.

As for the burb, I haven't measured the sag on it.
Fwiw, I put 12.5's on my old 2wd burb.
I defanged the front edge, and clearanced the rear with a hammer.
Work fine, last long time. That's the one that I learned a 2 litre soda makes a handy fire extinguisher! Lol

Crap, just realized I have no clue how a forum works... I shoulda added in the first post my 76 k5 turned trazer has a body lift to accommodate having a c10 cab on it also has an extra helper spring on the front...it has 33x12.5 on the front currently and haven't noticed it come even close to rubbing

I've been running the 33x10.5's for at least 15 years at this point, stock rallys.

Not once have they rubbed in the front. I can't remember if the rears rubbed one time with this size or the 32x11.5, but I solved that by simply using a wider rear axle. Lol

33x12.50 mt's on the factory rally wheels? Anyone else doing this tire combo? Some are saying it's not good others say im fine due to rim width... Opinions?
I know they'll fit lift wise but only got two rims to verify with that I won't be using unsure of backspacing on them could be offset from factory as their aftermarket
I ran them on 7" rims on my wagoneer. No problem
