Dump-bee the k30, Now with 50% less dump!

Ok. I'll give it a try. If it can spin them I'll see if I can figure out how to post a video. Not really a video kinda guy. Give me a few days.

Actually I don't know if the rear has a traction device or not.

I took the gmt400 wipers off the cab... Then forgot to bring them back... Even though I have a gmt400 and a square at both my house and the farm.... Don't judge me.

Lately I noticed that the batterys are dieing down in between the times I move or drive this.
I didn't want the batterys to lose to much charge I figured I would toss a cutoff switch in the neg. Cable. I know I have three or four of them lieing around.
When I realized I have no clue where any of them are I Amazon primed a new one picked up a Cllena High Current Heavy-Duty Master switch. $29.99

Wired it in.

Then I went to fixing the driver side inner fender, since the PO. Fix didn't last.

Old bungee broke.
New bungee oughta do it.

New price of admission is.
$1250.50

Anyway @Justin V it will not do a burnout. :poop::doah:

Lastly it seams that the cutoff switch doesn't work. Looks like it's still making a circuit somewhere. Either through the plow or possibly the dump box. A quick rundown didn't yield a immediate answer.

:haha:

What other lines do you have coming off of the ground terminal?

It's also possible that your short is inside the battery casing. I assume you've checked the battery water level?

Both batterys are sealed.
One battery I'd tied into the other and the other battery is a MESS....

The snowplow is hot... All the time.
As is the dump. As in the key doesn't even need to be in to raise the dump bed or raise the plow. The wiring is completely jacked... I really don't care that much, just don't want to lose battery juice.IMG_20170514_194401727.jpg

I'll fix it someday. But right now I just get a headache looking at that rats nest.

Another reason you don't buy a truck in the dark.

As @campfire can attest the wiring in my K20 is that bad or worse. It's currently in the "it runs and the lights work don't touch anything" phase until I get the new cab ready. Hooray for previous owners and their wiring skills:rolleyes:
