Bought back my old project car today I sold 6 years ago, its in basically the same shape I sold it in which it needs restored.

Plans are to drop a 4.8 out of a 01 Chevy truck in it mated to a 350 turbo with around a 3600 stall converter and looking to put a 9in ford under the rear. Going to put some lowering spindles in the front and lowering springs in the rear with some tubular control arms. Going to run skinnys in the front and bigs in the rear with a 29in tall tire in the rear.

The body will get redone as well, wanting to do a frame off restoration but the interior will be done more for racing than nice. Going to put a cage in it, racing seats, fuel cell, and few other things.

Been sitting in the weeds I see?

Always liked that body style.

I was just thinking yesterday of how I wanted one of those when I saw a really strait one on 80's monte SS aluminum wheels.

It had been sitting on the guys trailer for 6 years and just rolled it off couple months back to let a buddy use the trailer...lol

Ive always loved the Malibu's, wish I had never sold mine in the first place but oh well.

I am trading the blazer I got a couple months ago for this....
