I bought the forged 1350 yoke with the u-bolts. It's the $99 one. I've been ordering and stock pileing all my parts for my 14 bolt ff rebuild, so I iust realized today when I went to assemble the pinion assembly that the dust skirt from the OEM yoke doesn't fit on the ORD yoke because it doesn't have the outside diameter step up that allows the old dust skirt to be pressed onto. There is no way I will leave a pinion seal (especially the rear) exposed because that's a guaranteed premature seal failure. Is there a dust skirt/seal that will fit the ORD yoke?

Don't worry about it. If you don't already have a guardsman now is a good time to install one and this will also help some but seriously i've never seen a pinion seal go bad from anything "hitting it".
lot of times I seen stuff get sandwiched in there from the shield and take out a seal .
